FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are no hidden fees. Bookings costs are based on the date of the event, the length of the engagement, the travel distance, and the specialization of the performance. Discounts may be applied for reoccurring engagements.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you decide to hire The Fiddle Diva, Celeste will try to find out everything she can about your vision for the event. She will want to know not only what kind of music you like, but also the demographic of the guests, the type of venue, and any other details you have already planned. Then she will build a custom set list to compliment your theme and your audience. With thousands of songs to choose from, she never uses the same set list twice. It's all about creating the ambience you want! She shows up early to set up and collaborate with any other vendors onsite and she is responsive to feedback regarding volume and musical genres. She's sensitive to her audience, constantly gauging the crowd to make sure they're engaged and enjoying the entertainment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Celeste began studying the violin at the age of four and later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from SMU with a concentration in Voice and a minor in Theater. She also studied Musical Theater at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and later earned an MBA in Project Management from University of Texas at Dallas.
