FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
we always try to price each project as aggressively as possible. we are typically not the "cheap guy". we usually find ourselves in the middle of pricing if customers are getting various prices. doing work like this is expensive, hopefully customers understand and appreciate what goes into pricing for projects like this. we always send written quote that breaks down pricing for each individual part of the project so customers know exactly what each element costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For each new customer, first step is to receive phone call from a customer interested in new outdoor living space. we answer as many questions as we can by phone and email quickly. if customer would like a personal consultation we set up an appointment to go out and meet with the customer at their house to see the project area. we walk through the project area together with the new customer to get their ideas and also toss around few other ideas we may have. The appointments typically last 30 or 45 minutes so we can understand the objectives for the project. typically within a day or two we email back to the customer a written quote with lots of detail for the planned project and pricing for each individual piece of the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
for nearly every year since we have been in business, almost 20 years, we attend and participate in decorative concrete training, for new techniques, new products offered but our manufacturers, new installation techniques etc. we participate with the nationwide group called the American Society for Concrete Contractors ASCC and we have also been on the board for their subgroup called the Decorative Concrete Council (DCC)
