Introduction

My slogan is " WE DO THE HONEY DO'S YOU DON'T WANT TO DO" I've been in the construction trades for 30+ years. I learned how to construct and repair things at an early age building all sorts of things from sidewalks to fences of all types, sheds, chicken and pigeon coops, rabbit pens, and other projects that comes with working for farmers. Working on cars, trucks, farm and heavy equipment was also learned throughout my life. Being a pipe fitter and heavy equipment operator was my main trade but I've done everything from ground to roof and everything in between. There isn't a job I can't do. And I like a good challenge to test my skills and knowledge. I take pride in my work and I believe in going that extra mile to make my customers happy. I guarantee all my work and if it's done wrong or not to the customers expectations I will do whatever I have to to make it right even if it means losing money as long as I don't lose my customer. I had a misaligned old french door with a broken lock. Service was excellant and Skip was able to use his skills to straighten it out, and anchor old hinges, and install new lock and deadbolt. Doorbopens, closes and locks like new. Highly recomend.

I know the saying is “going the extra mile”, but Skip went the whole extra marathon! Not only was he able to move up the installation by a week due to our door being delivered early, but he even came out on a Sunday to get it done. When he got out here and saw the state of our old door, he went above and beyond to not only install the new door, but make sure the door frame was adjusted and had no gaps. He could have easily just popped the new door up and called it good, but he really took care of us. 10/10!

Skip and his team are wonderful. They installed two doors that were non-standard sizes and repaired the frames. They also painted our entryway and front door. Everything turned out beautifully. Pricing was fair and reasonable. A few of our neighbors have since hired them for projects.

I try to be fair on my prices with my customers. I also offer senior citizen and veteran discounts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know the customer a little bit. And let them get to know me so we feel comfortable with one another. I also like to fill them in on how I'm going to do the job and what I may need of them if anything.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have some trade school and business school under my belt. Then I have more then 30 years in the construction trades. I've done everything from the ground to the roof in residential and commercial projects.
