- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Tuition of $80 is paid for 30 minute lessons the first lesson of each month. Tuition of $120 for 45 minute lessons. Tuition includes individual and occasional group lessons as well as a recital at the end of 18 weeks Fall and Spring semesters. Federation and other evaluations and competitions have extra fees. $10 a month discount for each additional student in the same family.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make verbal or email contact. We set up an initial free lesson and interview. If we agree to continue I give them a copy of my studio policy for the parent or guardian to sign and set a regular lesson time for the student.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I stay aware and up to date with teaching curriculum and methods and am constantly learning and studying to learn more. I have been a member in good standing with Music Teachers National Association and take part in ongoing education, periodicals and support from this organization. I am also a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs. My students play yearly in the Federation solo and theory festivals.
