- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our Home Inspection Fees Pre-Listing Inspections Pre-Purchase Inspections are $325 up to 3000 sq ft. Please call for specific quote as pricing may vary dependent upon yr built and sq ft. Radon Testing: 48 hr Radon Testing $80.00 Meth Test/Screening Home Screening $50 Additional samples $75.00 Misc Charges Travel charge (outside Salt Lake County) $25.00 Our typical home inspections take approximately 2 hours. This time can vary depending on the age, size & condition of the prospective home. We strictly adhere to the NSHI Standards & Practices. We Also adhere to the Standards & Practices of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). And the NACHI Residential and Commercial standards of practice & Code of Ethics We strongly recommend that you attend the final portion of the inspection to review the report and findings with the inspector. Regardless of how detailed and concise a written report is, a written report should not be a substitute for a walk through with your inspector. Radon testing requires a minimum 48 hour sampling. We perform: ES Electret Ion Chamber Short term testing & Continuous Radon Monitoring (CRM). NEHA Radon Measurement standard methods We adhere to all NEHA NRPP Standards & Practices for a Residential Measurement Provider. We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I communicate with them from the first contact through the completion of their inspection and walk through the findings with them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently I spend between 140-200 hours investing in Residential Inspection specific training a year. In addition to this specialized training, I regularly research new developments in home construction and continue to add to my knowledge base from industry publications and other materials.
