We cannot say enough good about our experience working with Travis. He responded quickly to our initial Thumbtack message, which we always feel is a good sign. Our initial conversation really impressed us, as Travis was to the point, and concise, but friendly and warm (the combinations of all of these traits is not easy as a professional!) Our initial impression of Travis proved to be consistent. He was so incredibly responsive during our time working with him, and was responsive in a positive and warm way. It's important to us that the people we work with are truly professional in every sense, and Travis truly was, and yet he was empathetic and genuinely caring at the same time. As with most real estate deals, ours had some tricky elements, and we were particular about the kind of place we were wanting to buy. Travis took the things we cared about and he cared about them also. In order to sell our home and help us purchase the condo we wanted, he had to have lots of intense conversations in order to coordinate, negotiate, and push our deals through. Our purchase was particularly challenging, due to some unusual circumstances, and Travis really went to bat for us. Never at any point did we feel that we weren't important to him, or that we weren't a priority to him, even though he has lots of other clients and a full personal life. We are THRILLED with the sale and purchase we have accomplished! We are in our dream home and Travis' hard work and care enabled us to move to the next phase of our lives in a place we are so incredibly in love with. To top it all off, Travis added a personal touch by purchasing us a Starbucks gift card (the three of us had developed an inside joke because my husband and I each had a Starbucks cup in our hand EVERY time we saw Travis). He also gave us a gift card to a nursery near our new place, because he knew we were working on turning our new little patio into a zen/meditation area and he knew we'd be able to use this specific nursery to create "our" space. Both gifts were personal and incredibly thoughtful, and honestly, our whole experience was so amazing, we will DEFINITELY use Travis again for future real estate needs, and would DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone!! Thanks, Travis, for helping make our dreams come true!!! :)

Travis was very organized, thorough, and insightful for our house-hunting trip which meant we did not waste any of our limited time. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sellers from Thumbtack automatically receive a 1% listing discount off our 6% listing fee. First-time buyers will receive a free appraisal and home warranty (approx. $1,000 savings) For property management services, we can tailor a package to your needs but generally speaking, we charge $350 for an initial account setup and to fill the vacancy. I then charge 7% of the rent collected with a minimum of $100 and $250 to fill future vacancies. It's pretty simple and straight forward!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all depends on your needs. If you have a home to sell, I can give you a rough approximation of value of your home after reviewing the home's details, amenities, location etc. I would love to meet at your home so I can appropriately assess your home's value in a more meaningful way. For buyers... I just want to know what you want. Let's get you to a great lender to pre-approve you and then let's start viewing homes that you choose! MY AVERAGE BUYER DOESN'T HAVE TO MAKE MORE THAN 2 OFFERS BEFORE GETTING ONE ACCEPTED!!!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed Realtor. I have also completed the necessary education to obtain my broker's license which means I have additional education and experience beyond that of the average agent. I am hold additional credentials such as: Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) and a Short Sale and Forclosure Resource (SFR)!
