We had a great experience working with Rick and his team. He really took the time to understood our vision and expectations. And then went out of his way to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. He was great at communicating the work schedule. It was great to find someone hardworking and honest. We would highly recommend Timber Realty and Remodel and plan on using them again for future projects.

Rick McLenon is by far the best contractor I have ever worked with and I have worked with many over the years. He was professional and responsive to my every need during this kitchen remodel. People often complain that contractors tend to disappear when a remodel is almost completed. That could never be said of Rick. His attention to detail is impeccable. He works with excellent sub-contractors and makes sure each part of the job is done correctly. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful thanks to him. I also had the interior of my house painted and it is stunning. I have already recommended Rick to friends and family and would highly recommend him to anyone that is remodeling their home.

I will preface this by saying I do not normally write reviews unless my experience in something has been extremely positive or negative. In this case, my home remodel with Rick was phenomenal and he deserves all the sincerest gratitude and community awareness my family can give. If you are looking for an experienced general contractor who serves you with grace, precision, and transparency, please look no further. This review will be broken down into three phases for clarity and organization: project planning, remodeling, and post-remodel. Phase 1 - Project Planning Simply put, planning a remodel in your home is filled with design uncertainties, lots of unanswered questions, and budgetary constraints (at least for my family). We had a few different general contractors come to our home but felt unsatisfied until we met Rick. During his initial visit to our home to start the estimation process, we were thoroughly impressed with his ability to not only see our vision and expound on it but to assess potential remodel hurdles that were accurate. He meticulously addressed our concerns, took photographs and measurements, and began working on the project estimate. In short order, he provided us with extremely detailed blueprints to help us visualize our kitchen, a daily schedule for the tentative project, a detailed cost analysis sheet to keep us within our budget, and payment terms. Transparency and accuracy in a remodel are of the utmost importance and the scope of the project left us with no surprises before signing the contract. After signing, he maintained flat and constant communication with us and never once left us feeling in the dark or with a feeling of “buyer's remorse”. Rick brings a unique human experience to the project planning and not only made it enjoyable for this phase but throughout the entire project. Phase 2 - Remodeling - The remodel started on time (no surprise) and Rick’s diligence and subcontractor management were instrumental throughout this phase. I cannot express enough how much we appreciate his daily communication or presence in our home throughout this time to ensure the project was to his standard and completed with precision. It became very apparent to us during this phase that he is not driven by money, but motivated to offer his clients a beautiful home they can be proud of. I firmly believe no project is perfect and there are unforeseen things that came up during this phase, but Rick’s ability to navigate these hurdles is second to none. If any changes needed to be made that were outside of the scope of the project or budget, we were immediately informed of the situation and asked for our opinion. In many cases, a general contractor can make the changes without speaking with the clients first and then add the costs to the project. This was not the case for us and he never once strained us with financial burdens because his cost analysis was so precise. Additionally, Rick on several occasions came over to our house (even on weekends) to make subtle changes to things because they were not done to his standard. This is not to say the subcontractors did a poor job but to highlight his commitment to client satisfaction, stemming from his experience and understanding of the homeowners' vision. Phase 3 - Post-Remodel We are so pleased with our remodel and Rick was able to transform our home beyond our expectations. Our young daughter still asks about “Mr. Rick” because of his kindness and infectious smile. Remodeling a home is a major decision and several elements could ruin the experience for the clients. Rick is a true master of his craft and will work tirelessly to make your vision become reality. I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend him for your home project and am confident he will deliver the same experience we were given. Thank you Rick!!!!!!

I just had my kitchen remodeled by Timber Reality and Remodel.Rick was very easy to work with. He was always asking if I was happy with the work that was being done and keeping me informed of the different projects and what was next. From the very beginning he asked me what my priorities were and kept my priorities front and center. My kitchen was finished on schedule. I definitely recommend Timber Reality and Remodel
