- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I Started out in the Coal Mines as an Electrician in 1976 I went to the College of Eastern Utah from 1976 - 1978 and received my Federal Journeyman Licenses for: Underground Coal Mining Electrician, Surface Coal Mining Electrician, High Voltage Journeyman (5,000 Volts and Higher). In 1980, I came back to Salt Lake and started my apprenticeship in Construction. I went to Salt Lake Community College from 1980 - 1984 and passed the Utah State Journeyman exam as a Journeyman Electrician in 1984. From 1980 to 1987, I specialized in New Construction (Homes), fire damage (Insurance work) and older home remodeling for the Salt Lake Redevelopment Agency. In 1987 I moved to California and worked for a Nationwide Company that did nothing but troubleshooting and repairs and I became the Operations Manager in 13 States. I worked there from 1987 to 1992. In 1992 I moved back to Salt Lake and started Pratt Electric. In 1996 I got my Master Electrician License. In 1999 I started Cornerstones Electric and started doing Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC in 2006 as Cornerstones Services. which ran until 2010 with 25 trucks doing nothing but troubleshooting and repair (any size job Large or Small). In 2006 I got my EPA licenses and started doing HVAC work. Due to injuries from an accident I closed Cornerstones in 2010 for 2 years and for the next 5 years I just maintained my existing customers. I started Lucent Earth in 2016 with the intentions of starting over. We now do Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Video Surviellance, and Smart Home Technologies.
