Introduction

My desserts and cakes always look great, but even more importantly, they TASTE great! With a lot of bakers, you can't get the WHOLE package - beautiful AND tasty. But with me you do :) And everything is made from scratch (even the fondant). I feel like I get to create works of art :) I'm never bored! And I get to use my creative side on a daily basis, which I really love. I also love the relationships that are created when working with clients and other professionals.

We were looking last minute for a fun treat to celebrate the end of school. Dusti made us 3 dozen mini cupcakes in a variety of flavors. The cupcakes were a hit! She decorated them perfectly and our kiddos loved them. The cupcakes were deliciously moist and light. The frosting had wonderful flavor. I loved being able to give my kiddos high quality, made from scratch treats. They were wonderful! Dusti was easy to work with and quick with responses. It was a great experience!

Dusti made a build a bear cake and sugar cookies for my daughters birthday. The cake was absolutely perfect. It looked exactly as I requested and tasted amazing. And the sugar cookies... to die for! Thank you so much for making her birthday come together so perfectly. Will definitely be hiring her again!

Dusti did an AMAZING job creating a Lego Star Wars cake for a friends birthday. I was blown away by the attention to detail in the cake and by how easy she was to work with. After searching the internet for what I wanted, I had pretty high expectations of what I wanted. Dusti didn't only meet these expectations, she exceeded them! What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently took an awesome class from one of the country's best cake decorators. And I'm always trying new techniques and new looks to keep up.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved cooking/baking. Several years ago my husband got really sick (brain tumor) and it scared me! I realized I needed to do something! So I started getting more serious about my business :) It was the kick I needed to really get things going. He's fine now too :)
What types of customers have you worked with?
It varies! Never two jobs alike! Lately, a lot of cakes!
