I am looking for committed singers willing to invest time and energy into their growth and development. My drop-in rate is $70per 45 minutes, which is discounted to $60 per 45 min as part of a lesson package, created specifically for your needs. When you sign up for a semester package, lessons are held weekly, to give you the best chance of success with frequent repetition and support while you gain new skills. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet for an initial, free consultation. We discuss your goals and what you're looking for in a teacher. Then I hear you sing and test your range, we work on some technique together, discuss what approach would be taken to help improve your singing, and we decide at that point if we are a fit for each other, and move forward with discussion of a lesson package that fits your needs and goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A bachelor’s degree in classical voice from Florida State, a master's degree in opera from Arizona State, private pedagogical training in classical and CCM styles (mix and belt, used in commercial & Music Theater) many years of singing and training, performance experience in multiple genres, professional acting training in the Meisner method at the William Esper Studio in NYC, and over 17 years' experience in teaching.
