Introduction

We love seeing children, youth, and adults improve their skills to swim safer, faster, and more confidently. We enjoy watching swimmers overcome small successes as well as big ones. There is nothing like a child floating on their back for the first time and the grin on their face from ear-to-ear with sense of accomplishment and excitement. Or an athlete who "feels" the water differently and because of it swims a faster 100 pace time or drops 2-3 minutes off their 1000 time. Every step is a success!

We’ve been doing lessons with the swim academy for just a couple months and it has been amazing to see how much progress our kids have made. We have a 2 and 5 year old and the instructors were so great with them. Our 2 year old has boundless energy and I was very impressed with how they kept him focused. They have learned so much and I’m feeling so much relief about having them near the water on our upcoming trip. Highly recommend!

I am a 29 year old male who is training for a half Iron Man. When I first started working with Jamie in November, I could not swim 50 meters without having to take a break. Now, three months later, I am able to swim 150 meter intervals for more than 1000 m distances. Jamie has been an excellent instructor. She is extremely knowledgeable and her experience and success speaks for itself. I love working with her and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a swimming coach. I recommended Jamie to my sister-in-law, and she now sings the same praises.

We have loved taking our daughter to The Swim Academy! Every teacher we've had has been awesome. Our daughter was scared of the water and she is making great progress. She is floating and putting her face in and swimming out to the teacher! The teachers are good at giving suggestions and ideas for things we can work on at home and at a pool. Practicing what they suggest in-between lessons has helped a lot! The office staff are super busy but always get back to us. We'll stay for a long while! Thanks!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Private lessons cost from $25/lesson up to $40/lesson (based on experience of the teacher). Semi-private lessons (2 students) cost from $35/lesson up to $50/lesson (based on experience of the teacher).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our scheduling process, we ask for your goals and current swimming skills. We pass this on to your instructor, then the lessons begin! 30 minute lessons once or twice a week Same day and time each week
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All other instructors and coaches are required to continue to work on being better teachers. We have monthly meetings with them to ensure it's happening because we believe it's important.
