I love being able to help others learn new languages. I've become fluent in Portuguese, Japanese, and English. Learning a new language is an amazing experience that, I personally, will work hard towards make sure you get the best lessons from. I love hearing people pick up new languages and being able to use them and connect with new cultures. I want to give people the opportunity to expand their communication and grow from it.

My experience with Kalel is that he teaches with the goals and specific learning ability’s and capabilities the student has, my specific goal is to travel to Brazil and speak fluently with Brazilians. I’ve learned a lot about the culture and language and I am falling In love with it. It’s really fun having a teacher like Kalel he is amazing of what he teaches and challenges you to your ability. I do recommend having him to teach you. No regrets!

I took Japanese tutoring classes from him. What I liked best was his ability to discern the best way to teach me individually. He had a knack for assessing my abilities, taught at my level while still challenging me. He was professional, yet personable, and never wasted time. He had the ability to discern how I was feeling about my progress and knew what to do and say to encourage me when I was discouraged. I have a hearing problem and have difficulty understanding foreign accents, but his English is perfect and I had no problem. He was reliable and communicated in a timely manner when changes to his schedule were necessary. I learned more from him about the Japanese language in the 8 months he tutored me than I ever thought possible. I would highly recommend him; in my opinion, you could do no better than Kalel Cascardi.

I set up a consultation so we can plan around the teaching style that best fits the student. From there we will make both long and short term goals to obtain the gratification of the progress made though out my courses.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Native Brazilian, lived there for 21 years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've helped many students with English, Japanese, & Portuguese throughout school as a mentor/tutor. I really enjoyed teaching and found myself on Thumbtack teaching many alike.
