I originally had a good experience with these guys, but after the original clean up and sod lay down, they lacked being responsive. Great experience until there seemed to be breaks in the work that they did. Clear miscommunication and it felt like I was being scammed because they continually upcharged me for things that should have been done correctly the first time. If you don’t speak Spanish it is hard to work with these guys.

The job description was to move and transplant a tree. Claveles assured me that he had moved many trees and would not be a problem. Pretty much as soon as he and a fellow worker got here it was clear they did not know what they were doing. I told them (oh, and he does not speak English but his text communication skills were great and in English!) that they needed to dig at least one foot from the trunk all the way around the tree and at least 18 inches deep. To make a long and sad story short, they kept taking dirt off the rootball until it was only a few inches around and about 8 inches deep. This tree is 12 to 14 feet high. I don’t think it will survive. They did not stake it and the rootball is so small that any strong breeze will blow it over. I tried to attach photos but it will not work. And they also moved a sprinkler head and only berried the pipe less than 3 inches deep. All in all just a terrible job.
