FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Veteran Home Solutions, we believe in straightforward, transparent pricing so you know exactly what to expect: • $150 Trip Fee: This includes the first hour of labor as well as time spent traveling to your location, researching solutions, gathering materials, and even making trips to stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s if needed. • $125 Per Hour After the First Hour: This rate applies to additional labor and reflects a discounted rate compared to the initial trip fee. • Fixed Pricing for Larger Projects: For projects requiring more than 3 hours, we aim to provide a clear, fixed price upfront. This helps simplify the process and ensures no surprises for more complex jobs. Most jobs can be completed within an hour, but for those that take longer, we work hard to provide cost-effective and efficient solutions tailored to your needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Veteran Home Solutions, our process is centered around building trust and delivering high-quality results. When a new customer reaches out, we start with a conversation to understand their needs, asking detailed questions to ensure we fully grasp the scope of the project. From there, we provide a clear plan, including timelines, pricing, and expectations, so there are no surprises. Once the work begins, we maintain open communication at every stage, ensuring the customer feels informed, valued, and confident throughout the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring over a decade of professional experience as a handyman, combined with a lifetime of passion for hands-on work. My background as a machine gunner with a scout sniper team in the United States Marine Corps instilled discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems under pressure. This foundation, paired with extensive experience in concrete, drywall, and custom projects, allows me to tackle a wide variety of challenges with precision and reliability.
