I recently had the pleasure of working with Blake and his co-worker Cody to install a cedar clapboard fence and gate that beautifully matched our existing one. Blake was incredible to work with! You won’t find a better craftsman in Salt Lake. He was very detailed in his work (“The Boldness” style) and we were very happy with the result. We have received lots of compliments on the beautiful fence and would recommend him to anyone. Blake communicated throughout the whole project and was a delight to work with. Absolutely choose this company…you will not be disappointed!

We needed a fence built between our out driveway and the neighbor's property. The space was very limited due to concrete on both sides. Salt Lake Cedar Fence suggested multiple options and we went with their metal posts as they can fit in tight spaces and breaking existing concrete for wood posts wasn't necessary. SLCF is very knowledgeable and build beautiful fences. Overall we were extremely happy with their work.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are very competitive price wise for a traditional dog eared cedar fence.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have in depth phone conversation to start things off where I learn about what kind of fence you want, and all the important details. Based off the information you give me, I send a bid via DocuSign. In order to get on my schedule I require the electronically signed contract and a $200 deposit. The 2nd payment is due the day we begin work and the final payment is due the day we finish work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in biology and minor in bio chemistry from the University of Utah. I have over 2 decades of professional experience in construction, and started building things as a 6 year old with my father's tools in our garage. Trained by my father and grandfather who were both carpenters.
