Introduction

Marcato Kitchen is a restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City created by Kyle Williams with over a decade of high end restaurant experience. Kyle has worked in luxury hotels and restaurants in the Park City and Salt Lake City area. Kyle as a chef and Kris as a general manager. While our restaurant offers elevated comfort food our passion is creative high end food in a variety of genres. We always focus on quality while using local ingredients sourced from farms and ranches in Utah. We never cut corners, everything is made from scratch and we take pride in our craft of cooking and customer service.

Kyle was an amazing chef who planned a spectacular holiday meal for my family. The food was gourmet and delay—lived by all from my 81 year old mother to my 24 year old youngest child. He made the gourmet dinner seem effortless and enjoyed mingling with my family to share food and cooking stories. I highly recommend him for your celebration!

Marcato Kitchen has amazing food. End of story. I have catered two events with Marcato and Kyle is great to work with and people raved about the sandwiches, salad and the cookies. You can't forget the cookies.

I've craved Marcato Kitchen ever since I took my first bite back in 2023. This place handcrafts a wide variety of strombolis that are packed with such an explosion of flavors. They are always pushing the limits of creativity and never cut any corners on quality. If you can't decide which one to get, get all of them! Sometimes I order extra and will vacuum seal and freeze a few so I have some on hand. They will stay good for months and taste just as delicious when you heat them back up in the oven.

Chef Kyle has an incredible knack for delicious and creative dishes. You could tell everything was made from scratch and with meticulous thought into every detail of each dish. We had a few guests with dietary restrictions and he was still able to make modified dishes taste delicious. Our favorites were the house made pasta and the basque cheesecake. If you want high quality, creative food this is your place!

Marcato rates are $75 per person. We don't cut corners

We like to get to know the client, gather the wants, needs, any dietary restrictions. We want to be able to execute the customers vision.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional cook for over 15 years and I have worked in fine dining hotel restaurants and chef owned operated establishments. I have been the Executive Chef for Bon Appetite, Chef De Cuisine at HSL Restaurant. I also obtained a A.S Degree in Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Institute at the Art Institute Salt Lake City.
