FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate for consulting is $225, for coaching is $150 and for Japanese translation is $100/page or equivalent if a verbal assignment. These prices are based on 3+ decades of hard-earned and valuable experience as a financial advisor, international business professional, and social impact entrepreneur working with start-ups, major corporations, and governments around the world. I work efficiently and transparently with my clients in my best effort to ensure you get what you pay for, plus some. I work hard to ensure my fees are fair and focused on maximizing VALUE for my clients but am open to adjusting fees for longer-term, reliable clients in a way that aligns our mutual needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Introductory phone call to get to know each other and understand the scope of the project; 2. If helpful, I am happy to provide a sample of my work; 3. Agree to terms of the project over the phone or email; 4. I provide a consulting agreement for review and signing; 5. Client pays 50% of the expected cost up front as a retainer; 6. I get to work and keep client apprised of the status; 7. Project is concluded and sent to client for final review; 8. Invoice is generated and remaining balance is promptly paid to me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in International Relations with a minor in Japanese. But more importantly I have had hours and hours of financial and business training as a licensed securities professional for nearly two decades. I have also attended numerous industry events staying up to date on the latest business and financing trends and making connections with industry professionals and relevant connections.
