Oh my word, my place looked like Hurricane Katrina had hit it and I felt terribly self-conscious about having them come over because of it. I had "My place is ill prepared to have them come over" syndrome, I kid you not! But they were very kind and non-judgmental. They didn't just put a few things in boxes and do a little bit of dusting, mopping, and vacuuming. They cleaned around things like the refrigerator where I couldn't reach and really kicked butt with that mold on the ceiling in the shower area that I couldn't even get out with bleach! I'm no longer afraid to have unacquainted guests come over again; I definitely plan on having them back!
