Luke was so great to work with! He asked all the right questions up front (such as how we use the space that the project was going into), provided options for materials with cost ranges, and zoned in on important design details - which led to a thorough and accurate estimate. He was timely with both the build and the installation and was very communicative throughout the process when questions came up or decisions needed to be made. His crew was very professional during the install and Luke went above & beyond to come up with a workable solution when the color tone of the shelves didn’t initially turn out how I envisioned. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't charge anything for a consultation, but once we settle on a rough estimate then I require a 50% non refundable deposit for purchasing materials. I am workable on the price of something if people have a budget they are trying to work with.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will ask a few questions to understand exactly what the needs and expectations are and then will send out a rough estimate. Once we've agreed on an estimate then I will get a deposit for materials and put you on my build list. I provide a 3D Drawing with most projects so that nothing is missed and they will be able to see what it looks like in scale.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with wood for the last 10 years and have specialized in custom furniture pieces the last 5.
