- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My average fee for most single family residential properties is $400.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I’ll give a quote over the phone and explain the appraisal process. Then once you are ready to get started, I’ll schedule a time to go see the home or property and ask you questions about the home, i.e. about updates, renovations, and any other pertinent info. Once it’s complete I’ll send you an email with the finished appraisal in pdf form, or I can send a hard copy if needed. Afterwards I’m available for questions or explaining how the value was determined.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began appraising in 2002 and I have worked in California, Idaho and Utah. I have an associates degree from Weber State and I have taken 100’s of hours of real estate appraisal classes. I have trained several appraisers and work for many different companies nationwide.
