FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price quoted is my flat rate and includes everything. It is based on how far I will have to travel and the time that takes. No surprises unless I am surprised by a venue that charges me for entrance or parking. That, I will have to pass along to the client since it isn't possible for me to anticipate those costs in my quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
While each client is different, wedding ceremonies all have certain similarities. I try to gather the information I need from my couples in a careful and respectful manner. Upon request, I will provide a sample ceremony on which to build using the input from my clients. Most all communication is handled by e-mail, although I am also willing to work by text. I do not mind phone calls, but I prefer to have things in print available for referral later on, if needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Officiating a wedding does not require a lot of education or training. What is does require is sensitivity, reliability, and the ability to listen.
