- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new customer begins with understanding their current situation and goals. To start, I review key documents such as their resume, LinkedIn profile, and any other relevant materials. This helps me gain a clear understanding of their background, skills, and experience. Next, I arrange an initial call or Zoom meeting to delve deeper into their objectives. I believe that simply applying for jobs is just one part of the journey, so I aim to explore their broader strategy. During our discussion, I ask questions to assess their current job search progress: How many roles have they applied for? Are they securing interviews, and if so, what is the outcome of those interviews? Are they receiving job offers? Furthermore, I inquire about other efforts they are making to secure the role they desire, such as networking, skill development, or personal branding. This helps me identify areas for improvement and tailor our strategy moving forward. My goal is to provide a comprehensive approach that addresses both immediate challenges and long-term career aspirations.
