He kept delaying to send over the designs. He gave excuse after excuse. He took 1500 ($500 per room) from me, which i clearly told him it was for 3 rooms. The design that he sent to me was for 2 rooms only and he told me the 2 bathrooms are identical so no need for him to do the design for the other bathroom. So his idea is he can happily take my extra $500 and not do the work for that bathroom. I tried to text him and asked him about the missing info on the shower heads recommendation and stuff. I have not heard from him since. Do not trust him, he might have a great looking website, and he might sound like he is responsible but he is the exact opposite to what he appears to be.

Hey Cecilia, I do apologize that you feel this way, but you were provided the following per your design package on the spreadsheet we reviewed together on the call with your contractor: (1) Renderings of 3 Spaces: Master Bathroom, Guest Bathroom, and Kitchen (2) All materials and fixtures (including the shower heads) for installation, as well as, paint color recommendations (3) Scheduled call with your contractor to explain the exact design and installation approach I do apologize if there was any misunderstanding due to communication, but it is hurtful to see such a negative review on a completed project that provided all the items for your designs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every client's project is different which is why I offer different forms of packages. I want to make sure you get the space that you've always envisioned without having to stretch your budget. Ask me about our various curated packages!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the initial consultation, we will discuss the scope of work, preliminary budget, and timeline for your design project. Once all questions are answered and you are ready to proceed, we will schedule an Onsite Consultation, if applicable based on your package. During the onsite consultation, we will do a walkthrough of the space and discuss preliminary design ideas, answer any pending questions, as well as, review and sign your customized contract. Our team at The Studio will begin to conceptualize your space and create a preliminary design for you to review. You will work hand in hand with our design team to finalize your design. Once approved, we will go ahead and begin the procurement process, if applicable based on your package. All items will be delivered and installed with white-glove service. Once installation is completed, the most exciting part... the reveal!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
If I told you I was a Corporate Accountant by trade, would you believe me? It's crazy to think that I wasn't an interior designer from the get-go. I was always told by family and friends that I should start my own studio because of my love for interior design. So, I took the plunge and am so happy I did!
