James is top notch! We’ve hired his talents for the past 8 years and is someone we continue to work with based on his work quality, ethic and honesty. He is very respectful and trustworthy. James would rather get the job done right vs cut corners; this is something we highly value. And he is a wonderful educator. You will not be disappointed if you hire James! He’s a straight shooter and isn’t afraid to refer out; he knows his talent limits, which, if you’ve worked with contractors much, you will know that many of them overestimate their abilities. James is exquisitely capable, but knows himself well and respects you enough to say what is and is not feasible vs taking your money and leaving you unhappy with the result. Here are some examples of the work he’s done for us over the years, and everything still looks/functions fantastic: Built us decorative arches and columns in our media room, an arbor, attached polygal to two arbors, built a skeleton housing for massive faux beams up in our living room, installed those beams, built us a library and added wainscoting, a mantle for our fireplace and wood trim on our kitchen ventahood. We get compliments all the time from friends and family at the quality craftsmanship James delivers. He is the guy we keep coming back to for a reason. We never have doubts about James. I will attach a few photos, but for some reason, this website seems to rotate them 90 degrees and I cannot change it. But will add it because pictures are very helpful when shopping around for a contractor.
