Mel is amazing! She did the food for my daughters sweet sixteen and it was delicious. She was very responsive to me and all my questions. Her her professionalism is unmatched. We will definitely be using her again in the future. Not only was the food delicious and top quality, but it was far cheaper than other caterers I had checked with. You will not regret using Mel's table for sure!

We recently hired Chef Mel's catering service to provide breakfast and lunch for our C-suite team during their visit to our office last week, and we couldn't be more impressed. The food was absolutely spectacular—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our executives were thrilled with every meal, praising the quality and taste. WOW! We were completely blown away by Melissa’s delicious breakfast she prepared for us! I have a gluten and dairy allergy and she was so accommodating, the food was absolutely amazing, she was easy to communicate with from the very beginning and I couldn’t say enough good things about her! We will absolutely be using her again in the future! She is beyond talented!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am very transparent. Every invoice will include: Taxes Travel ( local, out of city, and out of state all have different fees) Gratuity Anything additional given by my client is by their own will and never required.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step is a thorough text or call consultation. There I would send you a questionnaire that will help me get to know your good personality. In the consultation we also discuss pricing and possible event add ons to ensure we understand what is to be done. Also to determine if any site visits need to be done. Secondly, I will draft a service contract and send you a proposed menu. You have a number of revisions to make sure every element of your menu is perfect. Lastly, I will send you reminders and follow ups, and show up!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After working Women’s Day 2020 in the James Beard Kitchen in NYC, I quickly realized where my passion lies.
