It was a pleasure to work with Raya! She was an absolute blast and delight! Raya was schedule to do my mom’s and I’s makeup for family portraits. Where do I even start!? Raya was amazing! She made me feel so comfortable and special. She listened to everything I had to say and wanted, took mental notes and captured it. I’m not a girl that wears makeup because I don’t like the feeling of it, but the way Raya did it made it feel like I wasn’t wearing any at all. Pricing can be discounted based on the amount of clients I will be servicing. Also I do offer a referral discount.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out every detail; From skin, to what attire will be worn, the accessories and accent color. I like to see potential inspiration for the over all look and find out the level of comfortability with makeup.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wasn't a makeup gal until I had my daughter and started getting dark circles from not sleeping. I learned how to conceal, from there foundation, then eyeshadow...The rest is history.
