FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is simple - it's the same for price for Drums, Guitar, Bass, Piano, Vocals, Songwriting, - even Acting! If you're interested in Recording, there is a flat hourly rate, as well, to help you plan for your project costs. We are generally priced lower than others in the area to help make it affordable to pursue your passion. However, if your project could earn you a "Parental Advisory" warning for your lyrics, we're not going to be the right place for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once communication is established, we review the guidelines so that each one knows to expect from the other. There is never a long-term commitment required, so no one feels "trapped". I always go at the pace that the student or artist needs, but never prolong anything since I'm well aware that time and money is an important factor to nearly everyone. A productive process and quality finish is always the goal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing music literally since I've been in my crib! Music has been a part of my entire life and I have saturated myself with a variety of styles and genres. My best training has been hands-on. I've been fortunate to have been in bands since Jr. High. My real-life playing / learning has enabled me to play in some amazing regional bands and have had the privilege of touring with them around our great country. It is my joy to pass these experiences on to all of my students. And as I tell all of my students - I am still a student myself and never stop trying to learn and improve.
