Hello My name is DeeDee. I will do everything in my power to make your wedding the best day ever!! If you can dream it, I can plan it! I am honest, upfront & trustworthy. I am just a down home country girl living the dream. My prices are reasonable, but regardless of the set prices, I can work with any budget. I am available via email, phone or text, try me! My husband & I have a pergola on 10 acres in Shepherd, TX for everyone to come enjoy as much as we do. We provide a scenic outdoor area that offers beautiful natural photo areas. Perfect for basic simple weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, or just a big ol' party!! My husband is an ordained minister as well and has performed many weddings, if you are needing one of those. His services are separate. I would be honored to be your DOC on your special day and I hope you have a wonderful time planning your wedding!!!

DeeDee did a wonderful job for our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier with her service. My husband and I wanted a non-traditional service and DeeDee was able to adapt to our needs and help us define just what we needed. I absolutely LOVE Mrs. DeDe. She was awesome. If you are looking for a dependable wedding planner, you can definitely count on her. She made sure everything was to my sister’s liking! She was very detail-oriented! My sister hired her for her wedding two weeks before the wedding because the original wedding planner couldn’t be trusted and when I tell you she made sure everything went well the most she could! She did everything possible to make the day special! Please hire her! You will not regret it!

My wedding was to take place 10 days after Hurricane Harvey flooded the Houston area. My wedding venue was destroyed. I found a gazebo in a park that had also been flooded but the water was down and I decided to use it. It was full of mud, sticks and pretty stinky but at this point I said sweep it off and let’s do it. When I got out of the car to walk down the walkway to the gazebo I was greeted with a beautifully decorated wedding venue. I could not believe DeeDee surprised me with this, and in only a few days to plan it. You will not find a better wedding consultant than DeeDee Collingsworth. Not only will she be there for you during this important time in your life, she will become your lifelong friend.

On your wedding day, time flies and you don't have the ability to maintain the awareness of everything going on around you. This is where DeeDee shined! She was there to make sure everything ran smoothly and that our guests knew where to sit and the wedding party knew how to walk down the aisle and in what order. Without DeeDee's direction, I'm certain it would have been absolute chaos. She was also able to capture candid photos for me of my special day that nobody else had. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I serve more than just the Shepherd area Just about anywhere I am needed, I will travel. But, there is an additional travel fee for anything an hour or more away of $50.00. You may contact me for any questions. Venue decorating is not including for Wedding Coordinator.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet with a client to receive their wishes, wants & needs. I will do my very best to make your wedding a dream come true. We can meet in person, via phone or email.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONS CAREER COLLEGE Wedding Planner Certificate, 2022 I have also done several other weddings before I received my certificate.
