FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All pricing is negotiable. I try to charge a regular hourly rate (though the rate will vary depending on if you want a solo acoustic show or a full band) so things are easy to estimate, and I do not charge for set up and breakdown time. There is a travel fee only for places further than 50 miles away.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get all the basic details of the event, such as time, place, size, and occassion. I also try to make sure that I will be a good fit for my clients' events. I will not take a gig if I do not feel I can confidently satisfy my client's wishes. My goal is to add to your event and make it extra special, so whether my client is new or regular, I will communicate regularly and work closely with you so things are clear and easy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began piano lessons when I was young, and while guitar is now my main instrument, my background in piano has allowed me to develop a strong musical ear that has developed for almost two decades.
