- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on a number of factors such as; wall height, condition, movement of furniture, repairs needed, texture needed, type of floor covering, special features, color of paint covering, color changes, travel distance outside of city, quality of paint product, number of coats of primer needed, detail of work and other special considerations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically contact with customer and conversation begins the process. l am listening closely to the customer for those unspoken/or spoken priorities. This continues on sight for measurements and assessments before giving estimates. There is typically an informational educational dimension given during the process. Follow up conversations are implemented after the customer has reviewed the estimate. Start dates, paint type, deposits, time frames, forms of payment and scope of work are detailed in the estimate. Communication is continual throughout the process including eta's and departure times when customer is not present.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Direct training by another professional in the trade with 40+ years of experience. Customer service experience over 20+ years through the hospitality, educational and social services industries.
