I recently worked with Eddie from Mr. Watts / Problem Solvers, and while I’m giving 5 stars for the service, there were some mixed feelings. First off, Eddie was great – professional, thorough, and clearly had my best interest in mind. He explained everything in detail and didn’t push unnecessary costs, even advising against things like their 1- or 2-year VIP/Warranty plans, which I appreciated. However, the $4,000 quote for 11 light switches, installing LED lighting (which I provided myself), and replacing two bathroom ceiling vents was quite a shock. To give some context, I ended up getting the same work done for $200 professionally and found exact replacements for the vents on Amazon for $100. If you’re looking to blow some cash or just want to get a sense of what something might cost (or if you want a quote to show another contractor), it’s worth having them out for a chat. Eddie is a standout and does fantastic work for the company, but let’s be real – in this economy, I’m not made of money! Had an amazing experience with the problem solvers. They completely overhauled my 1956 house to two 2024 electric code standards. They also updated the water heater to make it up to code as well as installed two brand new toilets. We also got some additional plugs and outlets for the back patio. These guys did an excellent job Cody and Clint from the plumbing team and JJ and his apprentice did an amazing job on the electrical side of the house. I would definitely recommend gentlemen as well as the company. I look forward to doing more projects with the problem solvers.

Overall I’d recommend them if it’s in your budget for a licensed company to repair your issues. I had my disposal swapped, new faucet installed (their recommendation), and the opposite side of the sink drain catch repaired where there was a slow leak. I had to buy the parts before they came back to do so, so it was a 2 day event. They left with some things that should have stayed like the old and new keys for the disposal they swapped out and the sink catch for the opposite side, but they brought one of the items back. Mistakes happen, not a big deal but those keys are important to have as the homeowner so I am glad I noticed before I needed at least one. The first quoted price was more than my mortgage for a sink repair which was shocking, but they had a tiered pricing service option that had an option I selected. It included the flush of the water heater. Their techs were respectful and knowledgeable with great things to say about their company and the owner which I thought was important.
