Growing up in the vibrant dance scene of Atlanta, GA, I explored hip-hop and contemporary, but it was ballroom that truly captured my heart. At 18, I transitioned into teaching, dedicating myself to continuous learning, professional competition, and sharing my passion with others.
With over 21 years of experience, I take great joy in helping students of all levels build confidence, break barriers, and experience the magic of dance. Serena has been absolutely amazing! We found Serena after a disappointing experience at a chain dance studio. What started as a simple goal to learn how to 2 Step has turned into a weekly date night. If your not ready, Serena will get you there.
My daughter got married in May and there’s no pressure like dancing or giving a speech without the proper preparation. Serena made the dance part easy and fun and we pulled it off!
She is excellent. Serena worked with both of us separately and together I could not have done any better with anyone else. In addition, Serena is easy to work with, has a flexible schedule and for the price compared to other options .. unbeatable in my opinion. She’s Fabulous!

Serena is awesome and has made learning how to dance fun for my hubby and me. We enjoyed our individual lessons - definitely a better option for us than group lessons to get ready for our daughters wedding. Serena is patient and definitely gifted at teaching beginners. I never thought we would be able to more than one or two basic steps. Now we’re able to do turns and a variety of steps to slow and fast music with confidence. Our time with Serena has been well spent! Can’t wait for the dancing to start!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are based on my quality of work and the certifications that I have obtained over the years.
I offer a 30 minute $25 introductory offer.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start every lesson by asking what are your goals, desires, and what motivated you to get your dancing started/improved in your life. If you already know what you want to learn then I walk you through some of the basic steps in that dance and then if time allows we will dance it with music. Don't worry if you cant dance on beat, musicality is my speciality. Anyone can be taught to find the beat.
If you are unsure of your favorite style of dance, the new student package is a great way to try out all kinds of dances.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained by many known coaches throughout the country. I continue to received training and attend workshops whenever possible to improve my dancing and to better provide information and dancing for my students.
