FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe customers should understand the cost before deciding how to move forward. Our standard diagnostic service fee is $85, and it is waived or credited when the recommended repair is completed during the service visit. After inspecting the system, we explain our findings and provide pricing before beginning additional work. Repair and replacement pricing depends on the equipment, materials, accessibility, and scope of work. We also offer free replacement estimates and free second opinions. For qualifying system replacements, financing and seasonal promotions may be available. We can also review a written estimate from another licensed HVAC company for comparable equipment and installation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We keep the process straightforward: First, we listen to what you are experiencing and gather information about the system. A technician then inspects and tests the equipment to identify the source of the problem. Once we understand what is happening, we explain our findings in plain language and discuss the available options. You will receive pricing before approved work begins, and we are happy to answer questions so you can make an informed decision. After the service or installation is completed, we test the system and review the work with you. Our goal is to leave you with a properly operating system and a clear understanding of what was done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
PT Maintenance operates under Texas HVAC Contractor License TACLB73015E. Our work is backed by years of hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and replacing residential and light-commercial heating and cooling systems. Because HVAC technology and efficiency standards continue to change, we stay informed about current equipment, refrigerants, installation requirements, troubleshooting methods, and manufacturer specifications. That combination of field experience and continued learning helps us provide accurate recommendations instead of relying on guesswork or one-size-fits-all solutions.
