I had several companies come to the house for an estimate and decided to use TruTex as the chosen vendor. The team arrived promptly and worked extra to finish the project in one day. I would recommend them, especially if you only need part of your fence fixed, as I did because I just needed a few poles adjusted on some parts of the newer section of the fence.

Hired Trutex for my new fence after getting an initial quote from Mark Sherrard. They came and removed the old fence and got done in 3 days total. I hired them for approximately 230 ft of fencing around my house. Mark came out and did a walkthrough to get me various quotes depending on what I wanted. He was consistently answering my questions and was quick to get back to us with any changes we requested to our project. Mark’s crew was very professional. I got 8 ft fencing with an automatic gate done. Could not be happier with the end result. Neighbors have been consistently coming to ask who did our fence. Mark did a final inspection at the end to make sure it was properly done. I would strongly recommend Trutex for this type of project!

Wow! I reached out to several companies but after speaking with Chris and Caden, we went with TrueTex and here I am writing a review before they are fully complete! Which to my surprise is only taking them 2 days! From the start, they seemed to understand what we had envisioned for our fence and gave suggestions along the way to help us all around. They communicated throughout the project and the crew on-site is highly efficient, respectful and just do an all around amazing job with their craft! The crew pays attention to detail and that isn’t often found - believe me we have done some work with other companies for our backyard transformation and they took the money and didn’t care much about the outcome or our satisfaction. But not this company, they care and are proud of their work - I highly recommend and we are so happy we hired them! Photos to come

The fence looks great! However, the process had a few bumps due to lack of communication. It was supposed to be a single day job, but after contractor-related delays, it took two days and left my yard open overnight. The crews were nice, but late for every timeframe they quoted me. I had to contact the company every time they were late to find out what was happening and to ask basic questions that should have been proactively communicated to me. Additionally, I worked in-tandem with a landscaper recommended by TRUTEX to remove stumps and set new sod, and my yard ended up unusable for 8 days because of both companies' scheduling issues. Since I have a puppy who needs to be outside frequently, I had to go stay with a friend for a week. On this side of the project, I love my new yard, but the process to get it was moderately frustrating.

Sarah, we sincerely apologize for the delays on this, mostly due to weather, and mainly for not communicating ahead of time on things. We dropped the ball on our communication and we apologize. We also apologize about the delays on the landscaping, what was intended to help you get multiple projects knocked out at once, instead of inconveniencing your schedule again down the road, backfired on us. We were at the mercy of weather and previous scheduled jobs. BUT we could have communicated better and will take this and learn from it.

Mark and the team did a great job with my fence. They were able to get it completed in a timely manner despite winter weather. They worked with me to get the end result that I was wanting and delivering a great quality finish.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
We incorporated our FENCING and Backyard division in 2014 specializing in all types of fencing, residential, commercial, and farm. With a family history of contractors, fence builders, carpenters, and roofer; construction found its way into my life. I started my career as a teacher and coach in the metroplex for 15 years, always working on the side and in the summer months for family businesses. In 2002, I started a Christmas light installation business. I partnered with a good friend in 2011 founding TRUTEX Roofing Solutions, working with homeowners on storm related insurance claims restoration. Shortly I realized there was a need for other services.
