I hired this company to move a spinet piano from one room in my house to another room (no steps or stairs). They advertised on Thumb Tack a rate of $159. They said they had to charge me $189 since I didn't live in their zip code. This should have been mentioned in their original advertisement. I tried to get the advertised price of $159 since they didn't even need a truck but to no avail. It LITERALLY took two men 10 minutes to do this job. Not only did they renege on the price, they then forgot to send me the contract, and then they had my address wrong on the contract. Geez.... all of this for 10 minutes of work plus their travel. All in all, the job was done, and it was done well. Under the circumstances it would have been a good business move to give me the originally advertised price of $159. Then I would have given them 5 stars. Next time if I need them, I'll be sure to add in some steps and stairs so that I can feel like I got my money's worth. :-)

We needed two pianos moved and Leo’s moving were careful and professional all the way through. I appreciated that they were extremely communicative when they were running late and carefully cleaned up all their moving supplies when they were done. Very polite team!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is upfront and transparent. No hidden fees or surprises at the end of your move. We provide hourly and flat rates. Flat rates are for moves with only a few pieces of furniture.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You provide your information, we send you and estimate and confirm a move date. We arrive in a well equipped truck, including dollies, moving pads, shrink wrap, tape, and all necessary tools to disassemble and assemble anything that’s need to be taken apart.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been helping people move since I was 16 years old. We have daily morning meetings to make sure everyone is at their best the day of your move.
