FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
pricing varies greatly depending on a few important factors including what kind of insurance liabilities are associated with the task requested. that being said, i try to price match and provide multiple repair & improvement options whenever possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
the first step for me is reaching out to my new customer and gathering details about their project and availability. once i have everything i need i decide whether i can provide a remote estimate or if i will need to go by and take a look in person. next, i acquire other contact info (a good address and email) and write up a quote for my customer to approve. once the estimate is approved, a deposit may be required depending on the project details. lastly, i pickup any materials needed to complete the project and get to work! the remaining balance is required once all work is complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
the vast majority of my experience comes from hands on work training with a number of contractors much older than myself. i've trained in drywall hanging and patching, electrical work, carpentry, door installation, wall framing, simple plumbing and various other aspects of home improvement. other training i received was with mastec in 2018. i was trained in satellite dish installation, running coax cable, tv mounting and installing electrical outlets.
