- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are very competitive and we charge based on our clients' preferences, charges for event decors depending on what kind of decor our client wants, how many guests are estimated to be at the event, will we be doing floral decor, balloon decor or a mix of both, will we be making use of balloon arches, customized backdrops and props etc. We are presently offering a 10% discount to our first 5 customers, just to get our feet wet on Thumbtack.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss with the customer to understand which of our services they are interested in, where the event will be, what kind of decor they are looking to do, or which of our other services they are interested in, how many guests will be at the event etc. Then we discuss prices and after we have agreed on a price, i send an invoice, then go ahead and
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started from decorating my personal events to telling friends and family to meeting wonderful clients.
