Introduction

I think my work stands out because I truly care about my students and their needs. I love working with people one on one and the things I learn from them. Most of my student don't realize how much I learn from them. My younger students are so great because they are not afraid to try anything! No matter how complicated something may be, they will not hesitate to try it. This inspires me on a daily basis and I am constantly trying to incorporate this "fearlessness" into my everyday life as well as passing this along to my older, wiser students. Everyone learns in a different way and it's a challenge to try and find new ways to teach the same material.

My son loves his drum lessons with Jeff! The lessons are fun and challenging and we have seen so much improvement in the short time they have been working together. Jeff is great at working with kids and keeping them interested. I would highly recommend him!

I have just recently started lessons with Jeff (April 2014) and have found his patience are truly GOLDEN !! I do not have a musical background but have always loved the drum set! I feel I have learned more in the first 3 lessons than I thought I ever would. Jeff is truly interested in seeing you progress in that he asks you why you are taking lessons and what your goal is !! His teaching material is very appropriate and he keeps the lesson upbeat and fun!! And will share a story or two time permitting ! Thanks and keep on Drumming !! P.S. I have been a guitar player for many year and also wanted to learn drumming. I have been taking lesson from Jeff now for 5 month and due to Jeff's does an excellent structured approach of of learning rudiments, rhythm study and drum set methods I am very happy with my progress. Jeff is very encouraging and is great at providing feedback in a very easy to understand way.

Jeff is truly a great teacher for young children. He has great teaching techniques and well structured drumming approach to young beginners. With his bright smile, warm character and good communication skills, it makes every kid feel comfortable to have lesson with him. My younger son, aged 3.5 has been having lesson with Jeff since Mid-June 2014. He is a happy camper when come to attending Jeff's lesson. Recently, I sign up my older son, aged 6 with him and he had a great lesson. Overall, his teaching method is just so stunning, unique and totally engaging for my children. I would recommend to any parents that are looking for drum teacher for their children and you won't go wrong with your decision.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing is $250 per month (4 lessons per month) for 1, 1 hour lesson each week at my home studio. 30 minute lessons are $160 per month for 1, 30 minute lesson per week (4 per month) at my home studio.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially we meet through email, then a detailed phone call where I try to find out how I can best serve each student. Then we discuss logistics and times available.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always on the lookout for any drum clinics in the area as well as talking and sharing ideas with my drumming friends.
