Summit Home Repair installed floor panels in my garage attic and installed even more than I originally thought feasible, maximizing the storage space. It’s an amazing transformation that will significantly help declutter my garage and other spaces in the house that have accumulated over time. One of the coolest perks is that finally I have the opportunity to park in the garage, which I haven’t been able to do since we moved in. They also used screws to attach the panels instead of nails, which is super helpful because if I need to pull up any panels in the future I can do so with ease. I highly recommend them for this kind of work because the two people that came to my house were hard working and devoted to benefitting us as much as possible. They worked with the space to maximize usable flooring and to do so went as far as notching the wood to allow for excess wiring to run under it to prevent pinching.

Lawrence with Summit Home Repair and Remodeling did an excellent job installing a new front door for me. The home was build in the 1950's and the opening that the old door was in was not square. Lawrence corrected the issues with the door frame and successfully installed the new front door. The new door works beautifully and looks great too! In addition to the quality craftsmanship that he put into his work, Lawrence was also a great communicator. He worked with me on a timeline that worked for us both and was flexible and east to schedule with. I would not hesitate to call him out again should another need arise. Thank you, Lawrence!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are not going to be the cheapest every time. There is a reason for that. We believe in doing the job right and it takes time and money to do that. There are also logistics to consider. It takes a lot of time out of the day driving to and from jobs and the trips to get supplies. There is more than just the time spent on-site at the project. It all adds up.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important thing to us is talking with the customer and getting a real feel of where they want to be when the job is done. We all have budgets we need to work within and we do our best to help the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Formal education includes four years of college. We have 36 years of experience with our hands on the tools. The fun thing is we still learn new stuff all the time.
