Beck Martial Arts

To me martial arts is about self-defense and self-improvement. Many schools dwell too much on competitions, which can get pretty far away from practical self-defense and sometimes get into an ego-trip that winning a medal or trophy means you're somehow better than the other guy. Others forget the martial part of martial arts -- it has to work! Developing the ability to protect yourself and improving yourself day by day - THAT is what it's about. I like seeing the light go on for my students when they learn something or get past an obstacle. I like seeing the smiles on their faces. I like feeling that I've made a difference in their lives. I offer discounts to help new students get started and ongoing discounts for packaged private lessons, crosstraining in multiple arts, and for families.
