I like to talk on the phone for a quick call to see the scope of what you are wanting to accomplish with your design, go over budget, and time expectations.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Are the designers okay with clients style, budget, and time frame? Frequently clients need design done within a certain timeline - you will want to make sure that your designer can accomplish your vision in your timeframe. Talk about budget!! If a client gives me a ballpark range on what they want to spend, I will make a spreadsheet outlining items with an estimated range of pricing.
