When I initially created an appointment with the person named trey, I was not given prior notice that he would be running late. Then, I had to reschedule because he overbooked himself. When trey showed up to the rescheduled appointment, he did show up on time. And from what my sister told me and showed me, he did do great work. That's the reason I'm giving him 3 stars. He could have gotten a higher rating if he didnt try to deceive me. I was told trey was coming. Not trey and company, not trey and John. Just trey. So I was expecting to only pay trey. He believes the list I gave him warranted more than just one person. Keep in mind we wined up not needing him to do more than 4 items. And if the list he felt was too much, he should have communicated to me he would bring another person. He knew this was for my sister because I noted that to him. From what my sister told me, he brought a guy who seemed to have still been in training who did not match his skillset, which made me feel like they were milking the clock. He literally put a small 2 chair and round table set together that was easily assembled with screws and a small 2 draw file cabinet. At most, it would have taken 30mins each. Since I know the box spring would take at least an hour to complete if one man completed this. I knew this job could take up to 2hrs but told him 3hrs just in case since I thought it was just going to be trey. But with 2 people there and not that many items to put together and again they were small and easily assembled that cuts that time in half and still tried to overcharge me for 6hrs of work. I'll add the photos of his work below of file cabinet, dining set, and the white box spring he put underneath the bed. Also, we didn’t ask, even though it would have been nice to throw out the boxes, everything came in. Just would have put a nice finish to his work. I'm not going to be using this person's services again. It is making me rethink using this platform as well.
