FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined by a free, no obligation visit by one of our professional estimators. Sending your complete address, phone number and an upcoming day initially will place you an estimating route faster. We will call you the day before your chosen day, after 5pm if not sooner, to provide you with a time of our visit, on your chosen day. Our estimators will introduce themselves, if you are there, noting any details that are important to you, take measures to calculate the price and fill in the estimate form with your data, a product list and a diagram of the plan for installation. Most estimates for standard gutters will be presented to you at the conclusion of the estimators’ visit. We can also do the estimate without you being there, but we need your permission to enter the premises, and there be no dog or fence to keep us from getting around the house.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we are chosen for an estimate request, we would like their address to see where they can be positioned for an estimate route. A phone number will also be useful, to give the customer the window of time of when we can visit with them. If chosen time is not convenient, we will happily entertain another day and or time. We are flexible. At the visit, we will review how the water will fall off the roof, consider how it will be routed in consideration of the landscape and the homeowner's suggestions. Next we will measure, note our calculations and draw a diagram on our estimate, which will usually be completed on the spot. An electronic copy will follow and we’ll be ready to answer any additional questions from the estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of our education has been acquired by on the job training.
