- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every year I try to attend coaching clinics that provide useful tools with drills, strategies, mentalities, motivational techniques and plays. Throughout the year I follow some of the best coaches via social media to pick up some of their knowledge as well. Being the head varsity basketball coach at the school that I teach at, I am constantly surrounded by knowledgeable people that I can learn and connect with.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was asked to be an assistant coach at my old high school while I was finishing up with my undergraduate degree. I fell in love with it and I've been coaching ever since and I don't see myself not coaching anytime soon.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Many people can provide a service that you'll be satisfied with, but can they provide an above satisfactory service while also being a great role model? That's who I am and what I continue to strive to provide.
