- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For handyman projects, we have a minimum charge of $150 which covers up to the first 2 hours of service with each hour after that billed at the current hourly rate plus any parts or materials we provide. Air duct and dryer vent cleaning prices are a set price based on your specific situation or needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We require some form of written confirmation from the customer confirming their agreement of our services. Once an agreement to hire us has been expressed, we will as the customer to provide (either via text or messaging through Thumbtack) their full name, billing and service addresses and email address in order to book the appointment. Once we have the appointment on our schedule, we will respond to that message advising of the appointment date and time and ask the customer to respond with their approval. Once the project is completed, we will email the customer an invoice and mark it as paid. All Payments are due and payable at time of job of completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I Have 25 years of commercial and residential construction experience. I have wired houses for new electrical service, commercial electrical service, and lighting. 10 years of Commercial project management. installation and repair of air ducts and dryer vents. Insurance claims restoration repairs/rebuilds. Roofing repairs. In my carrier I have been involved from pouring the concrete foundation to final punch list walkthrough.
