Introduction

My name is Ben Hitson and I learned my craft from my father. I started at the age of 14, and have been in the trades for 25 years now. I take a lot of pride in my work and always try to improve on my skillset as well as my communication and customer experience. I'm now passing these skills on to my sons. We can build just about anything. We specialize in bathroom/kitchen remodels & patio covers/outdoor kitchens, but any carpentry related job is in our wheelhouse.

Long story short....I had called several contractors to repair damaged interior from Hot Water heater, they either never responded or were not interested. I call Ben @ Ben Hitson Built and he came out within a day and spent a few hours going over everything I needed done. Work was started promptly and done very neat and clean during the process. If I had any changes during the job, Ben was gracious to accommodate. I am not easy to please. Ben and his crew are someone I trust in doing any remodel or repairs to my home. I will definitely be reaching out for any further projects or needs.

Highly recommended! I hired Ben to repair a fence gate and portions of the fence. He did an outstanding job at a fair price, and did it quickly. At our initial meeting, he explained the pros and cons of repairing vs replacing, and detailed exactly what I would be paying for. The repaired gate looks great and I will definitely keep him in mind for future projects!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started at 14 and worked in residential construction for 6 years before the recession, where I began learning the commercial side. I've worked on thousands of projects from a door knob patch to multi billion dollar data centers.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working with my father at 14 years of age and have continued to learn new skills.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked on residential houses, apartment buildings, tenant improvements, and retail stores. As well as large industrial projects, schools, and hospitals. I enjoy working with people and try to make sure my customers enjoy the experience as well.
