Thanks, Painter Bros! I needed to have my whole downstairs painted. They moved all my furniture to the middle of each room and covered it. We hired them to do some accent painting in our children's rooms. Even though they were one of the higher quotes we recieved, we decided to go with them based on positive reviews and our initial positive interactions since our house is a new build and the carpet was an upgraded selection. They did a pretty decent job with the painting, however, they did not cover the carpet in the room fully (including the room they painted the ceiling in). So we ended up with paint stains in both rooms. They tried their best to remove the paint, but in the process the chemicals they used discolored the carpet in those areas. When we asked for compesation for the damages because they team didn't cover the carpet well during the job, they kept invalidating our concern by saying they "basically didnt see anything" and "paint drops on the carpet do happen during paint jobs". From my perspective, paint wouldnt have gotten on the carpet if they had properly covered the carpet. My only advice if you consider hiring them is to micromanage them during the job because I saw that the carpet was not fully covered during the job but did not want to interfere their work because they are the professionals and probably had a explanation or method to the madness.
