Introduction
Music is my life and passion. I am a certified Piano and Flute teacher from Poland. I have over 40 years of experience in successfully teaching children and adults across the globe. I have 15 years of being a Music Teacher in Elementary, Middle, and High Schools in Poland and England. At the same time as teaching in schools, I began private tuition for Piano and Flute. After I left Poland I continued teaching in England, Germany, and the US. I embarked on my musical journey at the age of seven. My love for music had set the stage for my life. While studying Piano and Flute I have decided that sharing my passion with others is my calling and thus solidified my choice of becoming a Music Teacher. I teach all levels using various methods of introducing music styles and music theory to my students to achieve a positive and high level of understanding. I am friendly yet honest about my students' progress and always help them achieve their goals. It's a joy to help one to become an artist.

Maryla relates very well to my strong willed 6 year old. This wonderful experience had taken the stress out of trying teach my daughter myself. I'm thankful to have found a friendly, low-stress professional teacher who still holds a high standard of excellence.

Showed up once. Missed second time. Asked for a bunch up front then said something better came along. Thoroughly unsatisfied.
Piano and Flute Lessons's reply
Dear Mr. Pagac, After reading your angry review I decided that I need to clarify a few things. I hope that after reading my response you will have better understanding of this situation. 1. 'Showed up once'. Yes, I had my first lesson with your son after being hired by you July 20. The last week of July he was on vacation. 2. 'Missed second time'. True, after leaving a student's house my car engine didn't want to start and I had to wait for a road assistance. I immediately notified your wife about the situation. Because of that I had to cancel your son's lesson as well as two other students that day. 3. 'Asked for a bunch up front'. True. The missed lesson was on the first week of August and I send a message to your wife to remind her about paying for the month. When I came to your house first time I told your wife that I charge up front. There were going to be 4 lessons this month and because of that it seemed like a bunch. This is my business that pays my bills and I cannot accept being paid on completion of each lesson. I know that most teachers if not all, have the same system. If you had signed up your son for piano lessons at the music store you would have to pay up front for each month. 4. 'Said, something better came along'. I didn't word it my message like that but yes, it's true in some ways. Apart from teaching students at the their homes or mine I teach 2 days a week at the Music Store. Last Friday I was approached by the manager and asked to take more students from a teacher who is leaving. That meant I will also teach on Wednesdays because my two days are full. I accepted the offer because I gained several students withing 4 miles from home as to 27 miles to your house. Of course driving from one student to another lessens the mileage but nothing can beat the distance of 4 miles. I'm sure you agree with me on that. I wish you best luck in finding a new teacher. Thank you, Maryla Buck

After I retired I wanted to start taking piano lessons again after a 30 year hiatus. I chose Maryla because she seemed so kind and patient and I thought those might be qualities that would come in handy teaching an older student. Maryla is kind and she is patient, but more important, she is a wonderful teacher. I have learned so much and improved at a steady pace in the 18 months I've been with her. I know she teaches students of all ages and you won't be disappointed if you choose her to teach either you or your child.
