- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work with charities and fundraising events quite often so I am pretty flexible on pricing. My quotes are rough estimates. Don't be afraid to ask me any questions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Find out exactly what you expect for your event. What do you want to incorporate into your event? What are musts, what are optional? Is it a strict playlist or do I have a bit of free reign, room to feel out the crowd?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a music producer for over 20 years. This allows me to hear music differently and be able to put together playlists that flows nicely. I also studied and listened to great djs before me and applied some of their techniques into the way I play. I've played tapes, vinyl records, cds, and mp3s. I'm able to adapt and always have a backup plan should technology fail.
