- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, my marketing manager talks with the client by phone or email and gets basic information to make sure I'm appropriate for the event. Then she schedules a free demo, so the client can make sure that they like my style of magic. Most have never hired a magician, so this gives them a measure of comfort. Then we complete a service agreement and get a deposit to hold the date. Final payment is due prior to the performance date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always tell people "seven years at Hogwarts." Seriously though, there isn't a magician's degree, but I've been doing magic since I was 10 years old. I have spent hours and years perfecting every trick I perform. I practice until I think it's perfect. Then I perform it for my wife. Only when she says it's perfect does the public get to see it. People ask how long it takes to learn a trick. It really depends...Sometimes it's a few days, but often its several months.
